1:00PM - 2:00PM E.S.T.
Join CCC’s Research & Policy teams as we provide an overview of key findings from our latest report, Child & Family Well-Being in New York City: Ranking Risks and Understanding COVID-19 Pandemic Impacts Across 59 Community Districts. This new data resource reports the results of CCC’s annual analysis of community-level indicators of well-being, which relies on data from before the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside our analysis of data collected throughout 2020 about the impact of the pandemic on families living the New York Metro Area.
During this presentation, we’ll highlight how existing barriers to well-being, including economic inequality and racial injustice, overlapped with needs emerging from or exacerbated by the public health crisis. You’ll also hear about CCC’s policy recommendations to advance recovery from the pandemic and a more equitable future for all New York City’s children, families, and communities.
